Schedule
The BPLA will play a 162 game schedule. Teams from both leagues will be played, with most games being played against league rivals. Due to the nature of scheduling, some teams will play more games against some opponents than others.
All Star Game
There will be a 3 to 4 day All-Star break near the mid-point of the season. The All-Stars from each league will be determined by the game.
When the sims reach the All-Star break, the sims will stop on the day before for the first sim. The Game itself will be simmed alone a few days later, with the next sim being the normal 2-week sim resuming at the regularly scheduled time.

The All-Star game will be live-simmed on AIM chat on the next available sim day.

The team hosting the All-Star Game will receive a $3 million dollar bonus to that years merchandising.**

The team hosting will be determined by a vote cast by the league owners. One division shall host the All-Star game each year and the teams' stadiums from that league will be the stadium from which they are chosen. The 2003 All-Star Game shall be hosted by the Atlantic Division, 2004 the Midwest, 2005 the Central, 2006 the Pacific. It will then cycle through again.**

Expansion teams will not be allowed to host a game for at least 4 seasons.**

Postseason
There will be two*[four] teams to reach the postseason from each league -- the two division winners [each division winner and a wild card, the second place team with the best record]. There will be a two* [three] round playoff. Both series will be best-of-seven [First series will be a best of five, the second and championship a best of seven].
Each series will be a separate sim.

With the conclusion of the championship, there will be a one week break in sims and play, for league updates.
