National TV Contracts: When the league starts, it will sign a $400 million/3 yr contract split evenly between the 16 team -- $25 mil/yr* [$600 million/yr, 3-year contract, split evenly between the 24 teams - $25 million/yr]. Once the contract expires, a new dollar amount will be reached for another 3 years. The money will then be split on a point basis based on Market Size.
  • Huge - 20
  • Very Big - 18
  • Big - 16
  • Good - 14
  • Slightly Above Average - 12
  • Average - 10
  • Below Average - 9
  • Small - 8
  • Tiny - 6
  • Almost None Existing - 7

The teams' point values will be added together. Each team's value will be divided by the total, and will be given that percentage of the total package.

Local TV Contracts: Every team will start with a $14 million/2 year local contract. After those expire, the game assigned contracts will be left alone.

Merchandising: Each team will be given $15 million in merchandising at game start. It will not be adjusted beyond that point, with the exception of stadium naming rights and stadium rebuilding and renovation.

Stadium naming rights: If a team chooses to have a stadium corporate sponsor named, it has 3 choices.

  • $10 million/yr, 5yr contract
  • $12.5 million/yr, 10yr contract
  • $15 million/yr, 15yr contract

These contracts cannot be broken. The downfall to naming rights is that you are tied to that stadium and that market for the length of the contract. Which means no new stadiums, no re-location. Once the contract is up, it can be renewed, a new contract with a new corporate sponsor can be signed, or the stadium can be renamed with sponsorship. A stadium is not required to be named after a corporation.
The amount of the contract will be added to Merchandising the first year of the contract, and left alone after that (the game financials allow for this to be built in). After the contract is up, if it is not renewed or a new one is not signed, the amount of the contract will be subtracted from Merchandising.

Team Cash Maximum will be set at $20 million.

Ticket prices: Can be set anywhere between $1-20, effects being less money/higher attendance for lower prices, more money/lower attendance for higher. Once ticket prices are set for the season, they cannot be changed until the next season.  Again, do not change the ticket prices during the season.  If you are caught changing ticket prices during the season, your team will receive a $5 million dollar penalty.

Salary cap is off. The salary cap will only ever be put into place if brought to a vote and agreed upon by 3/4 of the owners.

Promotion days will be the same supplied with the game (with the exception of Retro-Day, the league is too new), and need to be scheduled at the beginning of the season. They can be scheduled anyway the owner sees fit.  The game now exports promotion days, so you just need to schedule them before the season starts with the first export of the season.

Playoff revenue will be assigned by the game.

A team can only lose money for three straight seasons before it is taken over by the league (see below).
